Chief Executive Officer

LIT Energy is an IPA registered business attached to Seamount Engineering . It designs, advices distributes and executes projects involving renewable energy such as solar, biogas, geothermal, wind and hydro.

This project is part of the Chief Executive Officer’s final year project in the Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering program.

It was co-funded by the university’s Appropriate Technology for Community Development Institute (ATCDI)

The biogas project currently undertaken is part of the whole mission to provide renewable energy to rural population of Papua New Guineans where reliable energy is limited.

The Biogas construction took place on the 22nd of September, 2023 and should complete construction in 17 days time (excluding weekends). We hope to scale similar projects to boarding schools around Papua New Guinea in minimizing waste and also provide an alternative for clean cooking gas and energy
